I know you need to think about satisfaction of your players but giving them anything outside the scope of this game's pvp isnt gonna cut it. There are reasons why those characters are named and there's a reality behind it.
Imagine you go to a war in a similar world to this where archers headshot you and you feel hurt but not die, or warriors completely armored with heavy plates and covered every piece of their bodies die to a single archer, or a priest who wears a complete same gears with a shield gets knocked down with mentioned warrior. This is absurd. By changing everything you shouldnt do you do not provide fair gameplay, you create unfairness instead.
Every pvp game has its rock-paper-scissors mechanism where you have the strenght over other classes while have weakness aswell. This creates the balance, not your pity justification of lowering or increasing anything. What you do is decrease the difficulty and skill ceiling of players makes the game itself dull because no one expects anyone to do anything they supposed to do. You all grew up by watching Eric's & Cyrus' pk videos (F9 and Zero) why do you think they been destroying people along with others? BECAUSE ITEM MATTERS, and people with plate armors / low goblins with no accesories at all, should die. To anyone.
You play rogue you have two options:
You go Asassin and play around your stealth and deal burst dmg and have to retreat if you cant kill until your CDs are up or you die because of your low hp & def.
You go Ranger and play around your range deal continuous dmg and have to spend lots more resources to do consecutive dmg going up. You deal range dmg, yet your mana pool is so low and also you have to cover yourself from flanks and all try to rotate your potions accordingly.
If a Sin comes at you and one shots you thats ok why because Spike has %600 dmg increase, right? Why its wrong when an archer chase you to death or kites you until one of you die/town and is a problem?
You play mage you have even more options:
You play paper mage where your dmg is gigantic but you die when someone looks at you, but you get advantage of aoe killing and this is a party related gamestyle. If you group up with other mages and top your game you can use single target dmg skills (51, 54 etc) to knock them out if youre not so aware of your surroundings and fail to notice there was a sin behind you, you die. period.
You play Int mage where you dmg is not as high as a glass cannon's dmg but you have the survivability over them and can tank a party vs if you play right because you give part of your gigantic dmg to your defense so that is easier for you to live up to fight another day.
You play utility mage where you support your melee team by rotating them according to party member's weaknesses and you turn unadvantageous situations a win by doing so. You help your team by casting slow/stun effects which deals pretty much no dmg and that is the purpose of utility mage where you completely give up on your dmg and need defense because you will be in a melee range with other warriors and sins all the time.
You play warrior and options differ but you got the idea right? I dont think I need to elaborate this any further. If i have to, then you should not be at your position.
Every one needs to play accordingly to their teams and the current situation of the player base and classes available on their side or the enemy side. If they dont, then too bad, they can cry all they want. That doesn't mean you have you create an environment to make them play easier you tell them to use their brains, and it's free!
Same mechanism affects on pve too you give something to gain something. decreasing/increasing values from what they needed to be wont give you any good economy or fairness as you just saw what happens when you dont calculate everything before-hand and failed miserably. This is statistics, not a drunk guy comes in a night after a fight with his gf claiming he's the god created mountains. If you dont have requested skill set, then hire someone can do.
You earn money out of this, treat this right.
About the items, you said level is easy but items are hard. Well not so much. If there are players at the first week with raptors/shards chitin sets, than everything about this is easy, you just made it level is easier compared to items. There's this difference you don't get. You open up a server claim its MYKO and everyone hits 65 in 2 days, gets geared at the end of the week and voila, perfect myko experience. If thats what you're believing, then you all are delusional. Wake up and take responsibility of it instead of doing changes worth nothing but pissing people off of nothing.
Why do you think higher level of item classes are important? Because they give more dmg and defense. People would rather go to have chitin +6 instead of fp +7 just because of this. You yourself killing this game with this kind of misunderstanding of KO
Theres a simple formula to calculate the dmg = (Your AP - Enemy's Def) * Dmg Decrease Multiplier = True Basic Attack
Then every skill should be calculated after this value is found. If an archer has 1400 ap while enemy has 700 def with no dmg decrease multiplier then the dmg with Shadow shot should deal around 700-1300 this is not making server archer server this is what happens when no one has AC thats why there are AC shields and armor pieces exist. If you want to prevent that, stop changing calculation formula and add AC items for people to drop if they want so you will create another game mechanism where people need to consider giving out 12 dex/str/hp whatever the stat they have on their armor pieces to take defense. This is how it needs to be done.
People used to OHKO paper mages with pierce just because dmg calculation was all fine and thats what a Glass Cannon means in online games. No one cried about how warriors are (%90 of the time) killed asassins at the same level or mages OHKO'd by sins. This is what this game is about: a WAR, and at WAR you have to use your brain to evaluate your skill set along with your classes capabilities. You by limiting capabilities, creating a kindergarden where every kid in this garden get throphies just by participating. Thus, you lose your players and you will lose your income repeating those until people starting to think you're a complete idiot and cant even understand the game, yet opening up another server. They will not come back afterwards because you will be untrustworthy for your old actions.
Note this if a party of mages can erase 30 people at once archers should have the same possibility of erasing one enemy on sight aswell. A Sin should be able to take out any paper or less itemed players because thats what they do. THEY ARE ASASSINS, learn some history. Warriors should be able to hold their grounds for a long time of periods with their High HP and DEF, because thats how it is.
You keep changing mechanics without understanding these concept you will fail even more miserably.
Here we all trying to give you insight and talk about this, yet Kojiro comes at night listens noone and curses then ban/mutes everyone has something to say. If Kojiro was a player, he shouldve been banned too with that attitude and language. If you call yourselves officers of this game, learn some manners as well because no one gives a shit about what you do with your life but this game. If you provide a service/platform for people to use. You have to keep it as stable as it is. This is not some trap boi's street life where he needs to do anything to live another day. Support your cause with Math, Statistics, and a decent reasoning.
